How does the platform work?
After registering and completing a short questionnaire, you are matched with a professional. You can then start via chat, video or phone.
What issues can I get help with?
Our professionals support you with many topics, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, identity issues, LGBTQ+ support, life transitions, burnout and more.
What languages are supported?
ThePsy is available in German, English, Greek and Croatian.
Is ThePsy suitable for emergencies?
No. If you are in immediate danger or in an acute crisis, please call the emergency number 112 or use the numbers on our crisis support page right away.
How quickly do I get a response?
Your professional replies to chat messages within 24 hours. You book live sessions directly based on their availability.
Is my data secure?
Yes. ThePsy is fully GDPR compliant. Your data and session records are stored encrypted. You stay in control and can download or delete them at any time.
Can I cancel my subscription?
It depends on your plan: the Basic plan (chat only) has a minimum term of 3 months and can then be cancelled monthly. Plans with live sessions can be cancelled monthly. Single sessions have no subscription and need no cancellation. Current prices are on our pricing page.
How much does it cost?

How are professionals verified?
Every professional goes through a thorough verification before starting, including checks of their qualifications and a background check. We also run regular quality reviews.
How long does it take to be matched with a professional?
Depending on availability and your preferences, matching takes from a few hours to a few days. We connect you as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.
